Financial Aid (please read thoroughly)

Financial aid is available to eligible students who met all financial aid deadlines for the 2017-2018 academic year. ALL students that are enrolled in the program are AUTOMATICALLY reviewed for financial aid eligibility and no additional application is needed.
UCR grants will be extended to students based on their Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), as derived from your FAFSA application, and determined by the UCR Financial Aid Office. Aid awards appear on your financial aid offer on Banner, shortly after you are enrolled in the Highlander Early Start Academy (allow a few business days for this to process). You may access Banner via R'Web to view your summer HESA award on "Award." You must accept/decline your award when it appears on your "Award."
Students are responsible for paying for their own textbooks and on-campus parking. Loans are available through the Financial Aid Office to assist in covering these expenses.
Upon the completion of HESA, all students who receive a 2.5 or higher GPA and fulfill the scholarship requirements, which will be outlined during the first week of class, will be awarded a $250 scholarship towards their FALL 2017 tuition and fees.

Financial Aid will distribute to your billing account on Wednesday, August 2nd. Any remaining fees need to be paid in full by August 8th, or you will be dropped from the program.
