Highlander Early Start Academy - Final Important Information

PLEASE READ ALL BELOW INFORMATION

Plan to attend our virtual Highlander Early Start Academy Welcome Event on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10am.

The virtual HESA Welcome Event will be from 10am to 11am on Saturday, July 27, 2024. All students are asked to attend the virtual HESA Welcome Event to hear about the HESA program. 

Summer House

We will be providing on campus house for HESA students. If you are interested in HESA summer housing, please visit UCR housing website https://housing.ucr.edu/ucr-housing-options/summer-housing and fill out an application. Please indicate that your housing is for HESA 2024.  

Financial Aid

We do provide Financial aid for HESA student, please visit our  website https://earlystart.ucr.edu/fees  for more information. 

VERY IMPORTANT:  Review and accept your financial aid award on your R’Web account, if you are eligible. 

  • Once Financial Aid has been determined, you will see an award offer in your R'Web account under Award Status. You must accept the award(s) in R'Web if you would like to receive Highlander Early Start Academy Financial Aid. (It may take a few days before your award appears.)
  • To see the type of aid you’re eligible for based on your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), please see http://earlystart.ucr.edu/finaid/index.html.
  • Check your UCR R'Mail regularly.
  • View your Highlander Early Start Academy fees. 
  • Your fees will be displayed on R'Web on the Current Activity screen. The Current Amount Due is the amount you need to pay for a given session.
  • Any and all updates and important information will be sent to your UCR Webmail ONLY.

IMPORTANT:

The payment deadline has been extended for Highlander early Start Academy student only. Highlander early Start Academy fees are due by August 7th instead of what may be stated in R’Web.

 

Here are your fee payment options:
In Person:

 Cash, United States Check or money order made out to “Regents UC” in person at the Cashier’s Office, 1111 Student Services Building. The Cashier’s Office is open from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday.
By Mail: By Mail to: UCR Cashier’s Office, Student Services Building Room 1111, 900 University Avenue, Riverside CA 92521 (Please do NOT send cash). Please include your Student 
Online: eCheck or Credit card through R’Web (American Express, Discover Card or Master Card). A non-refundable convenience fee will be charged. No credit card payment can be accepted at the Cashier’s Office.
Financial Aid: If you are receiving financial aid, your award will automatically apply to your fees. If there is awarded money left over after your fees and housing have been paid, you will receive a check for the remaining amount.
